Evidence based fitness with Roeg
I’ve been working with Roeg as my strength and conditioning coach, as well as for nutrition and weight cutting guidance, for the past 6 years. His no-nonsense approach and extensive knowledge in these areas have kept our collaboration intensive up to this day. I have a busy competition schedule for the upcoming year, and I am 100% convinced that Roeg will bring out the best in me throughout these competitions.
As an entrepreneur I am very busy and i haven’t given my health the priority it needs. Thanks to my regular appointments with Roeg and his no-nonsense approach to training and nutritional guidance, I have already lost several kilos and I feel fitter than ever.
I got to know Roeg as someone with extensive knowledge of nutrition and sports-specific training. In the past, he has always provided me with excellent guidance leading up to competitions in Europe and Asia. Currently, I am training for participation in the IRON MAN. I have also chosen Roeg as my trainer for this, as I am confident that what I’m doing is right, and I will be in peak condition when I start.
Roegs training sessions have made me stronger in various aspects in the ring. His nutritional guidance is also excellent. Weight cutting leading up to a fight has never been this easy since I started being coached by him. He is invested in my progress and genuinely interested in staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
I’ve been training one-on-one with Roeg for about 8 years now. Every session is a blend of hard work and a lot of fun. This suits me perfectly, and it’s the reason I’ve been training with him for such a long time.
About a year ago I started weekly strength training under the guidance of Roeg. I never knew that working with weights was so fun, varied and effective. My muscle strength has increased considerably and this helps me to perform better during the week. Recommended!

Thanks to Roeg’s personal training, I am physically, and therefore mentally, stronger. When people in a meeting are nodding off at the end of the day, I am still razor-sharp. My athletic goal to run the half marathon under 1:30 is still in place, and I’m definitely going to achieve it in the coming year.
I reached out to Roeg because I had a question about how to find balance again in terms of sports, injury-free training, and nutrition. I ran a half marathon on February 4, 2011, and since then, I haven’t been active in sports. I only used to walk our dog Pip. By following Roeg’s training and nutrition schedule, I feel my body getting stronger again, and my upper leg injury has disappeared. Roeg is an enthusiastic Personal Trainer who supports me with genuine attention to reach the goal I have in mind. Hard work is being put in, and there’s also a lot of laughter, which I find important.
Every week, I drive from Belgium to Nederweert multiple times for Roeg’s nutrition guidance and S&C training. His guidance has made me stronger and sharper than ever and is helping me transition to the professional class.
Participating in international dance competitions requires a balanced diet to allow the body and mind to perform optimally. Roeg gave us tools to continuously train the basics for this and thus create a successful competition. Fueled by these backgrounds, we continue to practice our sport and hope to continue dancing with great pleasure.
